Designed for calm mornings
Mastering Your Cup
Technically prepared like coffee, Lulu can be made three ways—though the French press reigns supreme: effortless, gentle, and delightfully smooth:
French Press
for 400ml / Water at 90°
Step 1
Add 2–3 tablespoons of Lulu to the french press (adjust for desired intensity).
Step 2
Fill the french press with water.
Step 3
Let it sit for 5 – 10 Minutes.
Step 4 – optional
Whisk the water and Lulu before pressing down the french press.
Step 5
Pour Lulu into your favorite cup.
Our tip
Add a splash of cold or warm milk of your choice to your Lulu.
Espresso machine
for Lulu Espresso or Lungo
Step 1
Set up your espresso machine as usual.
Step 2
Fill the portafilter only halfway with Lulu powder.Important: do not compress the powder with a tamper. Since espresso machines vary, you may need to experiment with the amount of powder and water pressure to perfect your brew.
Step 3
Continue as usual.
Step 4 – optional
Foam your favorite milk for a cappuccino.
Step 5
Enjoy as Lulu Espresso, Lungo, or Cappuccino. Our tip
We love to prepare our cappuccino with Lulu Lungo – sometimes more is more!
Pour over
for 250ml / Water at 100°
Step 1
Add 1 tablespoon of Lulu to the filter.
Step 2
Slowly add water to the filter to let it run through evenly.
Step 3
Wait until all the water is used and enjoy immediately while hot.
Our tip
Let the pour over cool down and store it in the fridge for a quick start with your cold brew Lulu the next morning.
