Porridge in Bed

For rainy days in bed. Consuming hot foods during winter time is something we’re naturally drawn to for a good reason — they bring us warmth and provide us with the energy we need to combat the cold and the stress of our daily lives. This warming porridge only takes about 10 minutes to prepare so you don’t have to leave your cozy bed for too long.

makes 1 bowl

40 g oats

200 ml almond milk

1 tablespoon peanut butter

1 teaspoon maple syrup

salt

toppings

fruits (We use figs) and hemp seeds

1. In a pan over medium heat, mix the oats, almond milk, peanut butter, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt.

2. Cook for about 7 minutes, stirring continuously until smooth and creamy.

3. Once the porridge is cooked, pour it into a bowl and add your favorite toppings.
